Are you, or is anyone you know, expecting to have a baby soon? According to a previous report from the USDA, the average middle-income family will spend roughly $12,000 on baby-related expenses in the first year. This number increases to $12,500 in the next year. Without a doubt, raising a baby is an expensive responsibility. Walmart recognizes this struggle and wants to do something to help the soon-to-be parents and grandparents save money. This Saturday (February 23, 2019), Walmart will host “‘Baby Savings Day,” from 10:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
During this time, there will be products that parents can view, and test, for their babies. According to a recent article posted by ABC123.com, a few of these products include, “car seats, crib mattresses, diaper bags, sippy cups, and more.” There will be experts at some locations to answer questions, hand out coupons, and to provide samples so that you will know that you are making an informed decision.
“Baby Savings Day” is only being offered at select locations. And, not all services mentioned above will be offered at every location participating in “Baby Savings Day.” Please call ahead and check with your local locations and see if they are participating and what services will be offered!
If you know of a participating location, please post in the comment section below so that we can help other’s to save money!
